Calico hands you a quilt to sew, and your job is to place hexagonal patch tiles so colors and patterns line up just so. Match six tiles of the same color and a button pops up. Match three of the same pattern in the right spot and a cat curls up on your quilt. You're also chasing design tile goals in the middle of your board. The rules take about five minutes to teach. The art by Beth Sobel is genuinely lovely.

The catch

Here's the honest part. Underneath the cats, this is a sharp, sometimes mean little puzzle. You're juggling buttons, cats, and design goals all at once, and what feels easy on turn one gets agonizing by the end. You draw and place from a shared market, so the tile you need vanishes constantly. That mix is famous for causing analysis paralysis, and there's basically zero interaction. Calmer players and folks who want to chat will drift.
